This is Sarina Compoz, Principal at Twain Elementary School, with sad news to share.  Our former Twain student, Drennan O’Melia, passed away last night as the result of a swimming pool accident.  Since Drennen was a student at Powell , they will be opening their cafeteria this afternoon from 2-4 pm for students and parents. 

 

We also want you to know that the Twain community room is also currently open and will remain open through 2:00 this afternoon.  Our counselor, Laurie Christensen, will be available.  We are also in the process of posting information on the Twain website regarding how to support your child with loss and grief. 

 

There will be a vigil this evening, at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church, from 6:30-8:30.  The address is 1401 East Dry Creek Road, Centennial.

 

Our thoughts and prayers are with Drennen and his family and friends.
