Immunization Clinics for H1N1 Vaccine

Littleton Public Schools has been asked by the Tri-County Health Department to provide locations for free H1N1 vaccination clinics.  Health department experts state that receiving the vaccination is an important preventive step that can be taken.  If you make the determination that vaccination is appropriate, the following Tri County community clinics have been established, in follow up to the clinics offered in November:

Monday December 14 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Goddard Middle School

3800 W. Berry Ave., Littleton Tuesday December 15 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Euclid Middle School

777 W. Euclid Ave., Littleton

NOTE:  the immunization clinic originally scheduled for Thursday, December 17th, at Newton Middle School has been CANCELLED.

Expanded Eligibility:

Tri County Health Department has expanded eligibility for the H1N1 vaccine to any person regardless of age or health status.

All children under 10 years of age need two doses of H1N1 vaccine this year.  The recommended interval between the two doses of vaccine is 28 days.  If it has been at least 21 days, children can receive their second dose.

Availability of Vaccine:

Tri County Health Department anticipates that there will be sufficient vaccines available.  They do not recommend that people need to arrive early to the immunization clinics.
