 Make Your Volunteer Hours Count!
Volunteer hours are collected on a monthly basis at each LPS school.
Why do we collect hours?  How is the information used?

Hours are an excellent marketing tool.  New families moving to the metro area always ask about parental involvement.  Most successful schools have parents, grandparents, and community members who participate in the education of their students.

The information is also used to:
  • Provide documentation for individual, program and building recognition
  • Recognize LPS volunteers by local, state and national organizations
  • Provide necessary information for grants and Blue Ribbon statistics
  • Identify training needs
Keep track of all your volunteer hours - helping out teachers with at-home projects, making phone calls, shopping for and preparing party decorations, babysitting while others volunteer at school...there are many things we do at home to help the Twain community.  Track and/or estimate your volunteer hours and then record them by:
  • Signing in on the volunteer computer when you are at school (your hours will be automatically recorded)
  • Registering on Twain's Volunteer Builder website and going online to record your at-home hours at www.marktwain.ptomanager.com
  • Printing out a volunteer hours tracking form  Tracking Form  (or pick one up in the office), filling it out and turning it in at the office

Thanks for making your hours count!
